Reminder: you may update your W4 if you’d like. Here is a link: http://employee.pactechgroup.com/employee-document-downloads/. Scroll about half way down the page and the W4 form is located under “Tax Forms”. You can email the form to: hr_pr@pacifictech.info or fax it directly to Jeanine at 360.200.5644. You can also download 401K forms on this same page and email or fax them to Jeanine.

FUN FACT: Did you know Davis Bacon/Prevailing Wage determinations are posted at every job site? Take a minute find it and take a look. If you do not know where it is or do not see one, talk to your supervisor/project manager or call Jeanine.

This warmer weather is amazing but it can also be dangerous! Outdoor operations conducted in hot weather and direct sun, such as farm work, construction, asbestos removal, landscaping, and hazardous waste site activities, also increase the risk of heat-related illness in exposed workers. Heat-related illnesses can be prevented. Be sure to be drinking plenty of water before it gets hot. If you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated! Drink water 24 hours in advance and while working to keep yourself hydrated for the days’ work. As always, wear sunscreen and a hat to prevent sunburns!
